For some time, I was closed off to myself, others, and the universe. There was no growth, no joy, no realness. I would wake up every morning, and go about my day, unconscious, in a daze… physically there, mentally trapped by pain, hurt, anger, frustration, you name it!
I finally let go.
Over time, I have learned various lessons in the situations and people, I’ve encountered. Each day I discover potential within, to create and expand the self.
Allowing self-expression through various means, has granted me freedom. I have freed myself from the expectations, critiques, judgements, and overall negativity of others. I live life for me…
Yet, I want to share what I’ve gained, with you.
There is always room to grow. However awareness is the first step, in eradicating that which you no longer want in your life, or want to possess within.
Now, I will continue my journey, open to exploration, and the gifts God surrounds us with; through Consciousness, Being, Now, in the present moment.
Dig deeper then what you see, or find on the surface.
We’re all works in progress, and that is beautiful.

Hey Wakeupsoul!
I am glad you wrote this. I am writing a blog too ( I made an effort here not to write “trying to”). Slowly. I am a dancer and I have a message for the dormant soul so I blog. I love your site and I hope it grows. Our path is different, no doubt about that, but your message, similar to mine, touches me. I am awake NOW. I thought I was a few years ago. I humbled up and accepted that some knew much more about life then I did… So I started living an awaken learning life. I read messages from people I don’t know, I talk to people I don’t know and ask them about here life. I listen. I look. I love this new passion for life.

I never really update my blog, as it has always served as a random release of thought, emotions, etc. Yet, it is really touching to hear that what I’ve written resonates and touches your soul, or anyone’s soul! I sincerely appreciate your kind words and hearing about your own personal journey. LIFE is an amazing gift and how we chose to live it makes all the difference.
